Whitelee Wind Farm to Extend Its Existing Site

The Whitelee wind farm located at Eaglesham Moor, in East Renfrewshire is the largest onshore wind-farm in Europe. At present the wind farm has 215 turbines that can generate 539MW of electricity. This is sufficient to power around 290,000 homes.

EDF Energy, Eneco Set to Built Large Offshore Wind Farm in UK
